There are two classifications of raw material including PC, and ABS as we known to manufacture mobile phone chargers. Normally, prices of them are: PC\uff1eABS. That\u2019s why common PC chargers are more expensive than ABS. If your customers are really finicky about price, recommend them ABS chargers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ABS<\/strong>– Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ABS is the most common used material due to its outstanding performance in processing, coloring, surface spraying and electroplating. It\u2019s common used in home appliances manufacturing, such washing machine, air conditioner, refrigerator, electric fan, and etc. Besides, it has a very decent price, so it is widely applied to mobile phone charger housing at early stage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, it isn\u2019t without disadvantage. This material has low strength and is not resistant to high temperature. Therefore, it requires thicker materials to achieve higher strength capabilities. A case is that in the last decade, when most of the mobile phones were manufactured with ABS material, you\u2019re not able to find a mobile phone as slim as iPhone nowadays. Most of them were thick and heavy, up to 25mm thickness, as they need more materials to ensure higher strength capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In regards of mobile phone chargers made from ABS material, the surface of them looks like \u201cmatte\u201d, on the other words, don\u2019t have much luster. But they\u2019re more vivid in color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PC-<\/strong>Polycarbonate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compared with ABS, PC has contrary features. It performs high-strength abilities and strong resistance to high temperature. Also, it\u2019s a kind of non-toxic\u00a0tasteless\u00a0plastic material-it\u2019s common used in water bottles. On the other aspect, the obvious default of it is the difficult surface treatment: difficult to coloring, spraying or electroplating. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, most of the PC chargers are white finished with less of colors. Though lacking of colors, PC chargers add more lusters and thus appear a high-end surface. Furthermore, thanks to its high-strength abilities, PC chargers are thin, slim and lightweight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
